ICT Technician Self Assessment

Becta has produced a framework of competences to assess the level of expertise in ICT Technicians (or anyone who is involved in ICT).

This framework has been adapted and used as a basis for a self-assessment program which can now be downloaded from this website.  Along with the original generic competences, new competences have been added relating to areas specific to Birmingham Schools.

Features of the program include:

• Written by Link2ICT for Birmingham Schools.
• Works with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
• Links with Microsoft Word for the optional creation of reports.
• Stores past results for later analysis.
